Around the old helmet grew Renaissance
city, and it is the part where develops the greater social and commercial
activity of the city.
Also in this zone is where the main official headquarters and various
important are locate.
 Perhaps
the main plaza is the Piazza of Ferrari that, if it is not the most important
one, it is the largest and central one. From it splits the via XX Setembre,
one of the main avenues of Genoa. It is full of large stores and terraces
of coffees and restaurants under its arcades.
Another notable plaza is the piazza Corvetto, something more at north
and it is under a slope of the saw, from which it is possible to access
to a pair of extensive parks.
